About the Project

After a major brand redesign, Benchmark came to Elevated Third for help reworking the web experience of all of the locations under their banner.  Based in the Northeast, Benchmark provides top-class independent living, assisted living, mind and memory and respite care options. Given the multiple sub-brands that would share this over-arching web structure, we needed to ensure the reusability of components between each site while also providing the customizability to give each their own look and feel.
VIEW THE SITE

63 communities across seven states use websites powered by this design system.

Conducted multiple user interviews and chalk-mark tests to ensure accessibility.

Homepage design for the overall Benchmark brand.
Landing page for one of the multiple communities.
Many communities have leveraged our new components to stand out.
This page and the ones before/after show the flexible components available.
We worked with many communities to create subsite-wide style guides for content theming.
Above shows our slick map search feature to find communities in the area. Underneath is an alternative option of community landing page available.
Inspired by sites like Redfin and Zillow, we wanted to capture all aspects of living in a Benchmark residence- providing photos, 3d walkthroughs, amenity lists and testimonials from current residents.
Just some of the examples of the visual direction ideas I provided to the client.
It was important to capture the social and activity-based living here.
The client's rich photo collection helped guide the mood we wanted on site.
